Laehui Studio will arrive approximately 30–60 minutes before the start of the event. After taking quick reference photos of the guests, the portraits will be painted on site while they enjoy the event. Guests can then pick up their portraits a few hours later. Laehui Studio can also draw without photos, with guests posing in person. However, this usually creates a line, which can take time away from guests enjoying the event.

Watercolor portraits: about 7–12 minutes per portrait. On average, 5 to 8 portraits per hour will be completed. Pencil or pen portraits: (without colors) about 4 to 5 minutes. On average, 10 to 15 portraits per hour will be completed. The time required depends on facial features, outfit complexity, and level of detail, as well as short pauses, guest turnover, and interactions with the artist. All of these factors make it difficult to provide a precise estimate. These timeframes reflect an efficient pace, while maintaining a high standard of quality. As Laehui Studio is operated by a single artist, collaborations with other professional illustrators during events with a lot of guests are entirely possible. Additional guest portraits may also be completed in the studio after the wedding or event. Certain packages offer a special pricing for those additional portraits.

I offer to stay up to 8 hours with my full-day package. However, if that isn’t enough time, any guests who weren’t illustrated on site can be painted in the studio after the event, based on photos.

Live illustration packages start from €1000 for a short service, excluding travel. For most wedding destinations in France, Spain and Italy, and Switzerland, I offer 2 to 3 base package options that include all fees. Laehui Studio is based in Biarritz and travels throughout France, Spain, Italy, Switzerland and elsewhere on request. Biarritz, Bordeaux, Dordogne and Toulouse area are where she works the most often. ✈️ Note: Laehui Studio has easy access to the airports of Biarritz, San Sebastián and Bilbao offering numerous direct flights, and has a car facilitating travel.

Of course! Several options are available: • Deckled edges (torn paper edges) • Custom stamp, date, names, or monogram • Pre-printed illustrated made-on-mesure background or borders • Kraft envelopes • Etc. Some options must be approved 1–2 months in advance.

Booking is simple: send me a message via the contact form or by email, and I'll send you a personalised quote within 24 hours. If you don't receive a reply within 48 hours, please check your spam folder. Once the quote is approved and the 30% to 50% deposit is received, your date is confirmed. The balance is due no later than 30 days before the event. In case of cancellation, the deposit is partially refundable: 90% if cancelled 9 months or more before the event, 50% between 6 and 9 months, and non-refundable under 6 months.
